What is GEO/AEO, and how is it different from SEO?

SEO ranks your own web pages in traditional search results. GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) are about whether AI search tools cite and recommend your business at all — a different, largely third-party-driven game. We treat it as SEO's next layer, not a replacement.
